Manchester City make Rodwell move

The 21-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Barclays Premier League champions for an undisclosed fee.
Rodwell, who can play as a defensive or attacking midfielder, broke into Everton's reserve team as a 15-year-old and played for the Toffees at senior level before his 17th birthday.
He made 51 League appearances for David Moyes' side and scored four goals.

- Jack Rodwell
"I relish the opportunity of playing with some of the best players in the world and continuing my development," Man City's new No17 told the club's official website.
"It will be an amazing experience to make my debut in front of them if I am selected to play next weekend.
"The hard work starts today as I start to help contribute to the club winning more silverware. The season has started really well with the Community Shield win."
The former England Under-16 captain paid tribute to Moyes after completing his move.
"I would like to place on record my thanks to everyone at Everton Football Club. The Manager David Moyes has been brilliant for me and helped make me the player that I am today.
"I have a special relationship with the Chairman, Mr Kenwright, who did not want me to leave but this is too good an opportunity for me to refuse."
Rodwell has won two full England caps, making his debut as a substitute against Spain and facing Sweden in a friendly.
He has also been included in Roy Hodgson's England squad to face Italy on Wednesday.
City open their title defence at home against Southampton on Sunday.

WWE.com Exclusive: Shawn Michaels on recovery and Triple H’s chances against Lesnar

On Monday’s Raw, Brock Lesnar attacked Shawn Michaels and broke his arm using the Kimura Lock. (FULL STORY) Earlier today, WWE.com called the WWE Hall of Famer to find out how he’s doing, and what he thinks about his best friend stepping into the ring against Brock Lesnar this Sunday at SummerSlam.

How is HBK's recovery going?
"I'm not happy about what Borck Lesnar did to me, but life goes on. I have kids and a family, and things that have to get done. Thankfully, I’m left-handed and ambidextrous so I’m not slowed very much. The physical work around the ranch is going to take a back seat for a while."

How can Triple H beat Brock?
When asked what Triple H needs to do to overcome Lesnar, HBK offered a strategic approach for his friend.

"Brock is a whole different kind of cat. He’s not the same guy he was 10 years ago. The problem is getting caught in the jaws of the alligator. Eventually, you have to tie up with him," he said.

"Once he gets ahold of you — I don’t care if it’s an arm, leg, ankle or wrist — he now has an ability that I don’t think he had before. He might have had it, but I don’t think he had the wisdom, knowledge and experience at that time to utilize it in the respect that he does now. And that makes him a ton more dangerous. That is going to be something Hunter hasn’t faced before."

As for what it’s going to take to win at SummerSlam, HBK was brutally honest.

"I think that Hunter has the tools to defeat Brock, but it’s going to be tough. If he attacks him in the right respect, and avoids getting caught in the jaws of the alligator, he has a chance."

"But, if I had the answer to beating him, I wouldn’t be walking around with a broken arm," he said.
